The NDA alliance finalised its seat-sharing arrangement for the April 23 Tamil Nadu assembly elections. AIADMK will contest 178 of 234 seats, BJP gets 27, PMK receives 18, and AMMK gets 11. The pact was signed by AIADMK chief Palaniswami and BJP's Piyush Goyal in Chennai after months of negotiations. The primary contest is against the ruling DMK-led alliance.
